This edition of the four roots zine is a photobook exploring the role magic has played in the development of my art-making practice. By combing through my 20-year photo archive, I found traces and evidence of an ongoing habit: probing mysteries and unanswerable questions through material ritual. Ultimately, the book is edited and arranged to reflect the life of material that naturally, continually, and always transforms.
